2008 Panhellenic Awards
Banquet
We were very excited, in April, to
host a Panhellenic Awards Banquet. This is
a new annual tradition on our campus -- we are thrilled to host a forum
for recognizing leadership excellence within our organization.
2006 UTPA Centennial - 100 Years of Sororities in
Canada
Together with our alumnae counterpart organization,
Toronto Area Alumnae Panhellenic, we
celebrated 100 years of sororities in Canada in 2006. Chairman Betty Quick
of the National Panhellenic Conference was our special guest to Toronto.
Sorority women from across the GTA gathered at Bayview Country Club in
Thornhill for a celebratory
luncheon.
CIFC
In November 2005, UTPA hosted the Canadian
Interfraternal Conference. Male and female delegates representing
six Canadian campuses, nine men's fraternities and ten sororities were
in attendance. We were honoured to share the rich
history of Greeklife at University of Toronto.
Individually, each sorority organizes events for its own members including alumnae, the sorority community in general, the greater University of Toronto community, and the GTA community at large!
