All members of women's fraternities and sororities at U
of T are also dues-paying members of the UTPA. As a result, the Panhellenic
Association is t Each sorority elects representative delegates to the Panhellenic Council. This Council operates to ensure the future of our organizations by coordinating recruitment of new members, leadership programming and recognition events, and representing us to SAC. We have a number of volunteer alumnae advisors! So, together with all seven member groups of U of T women's fraternities, the UTPA Council delegates representing them, and our alumnae advisors, we ARE the Sororities at U of T! We also have an alumnae counterpart organization. This is called the Toronto Area Alumnae Panhellenic (TAAP). Members of this alumnae organization serve as volunteer advisors to the UTPA and our respective organizations. There are more than 12,000 sorority alumnae living in the Greater Toronto Area. TAAP sponsors an annual scholarship award ($1000) for our members as well as the "Gloria Legrow Woman of the Year Award".
